This November, escape to the Living Mountain Chalets for an autumn weekend exploring the landscapes, flavours and traditions of Garfagnana.

Spend two nights in a cosy wooden chalet tucked away in the peaceful woodland, enjoy a guided hike through the Fosciandora countryside with a tasting of local specialities, and savour a dinner featuring the Chef’s creations by the warmth of the fireplace at Locanda Alla Posta. A getaway for two, filled with authentic flavours, new discoveries and the unhurried pace of autumn.

Friday, 6 November – Welcome to Il Ciocco

Saturday, 7 November – The Bread Tree: Through the Lands of Fosciandora

9:30 am – Set off on a guided hike with Limbo Awakenings, exploring the landscapes and local traditions of Fosciandora, with a tasting of regional specialities.

Distance: approx. 10 km | Duration: approx. 4 hours

In the evening, enjoy dinner at  Locanda Alla Posta, including two courses, dessert and a glass of wine per person.

Sunday, 8 November – A Slow Morning at the Chalet

Breakfast and check-out.

For those wishing to start the day with a little extra relaxation, a Morning Yoga Session is available at 9:00 am. This optional experience can be booked directly with Limbo Awakenings for an additional €35 per person.
